Q. What set the PPT8 Challenge apart from other challenges for you?
Nutrition advice and tracking.
Very supportive squads from the trainers and other clients.
Being challenged, building strength and able to adjust where I have issues or an off day.
Q.What results did you achieve during the PPT8?
I learnt it’s not just about the scales!!!
I only lost 3.7kg, but so many people are telling me how good I look.
More importantly I lost 8 kg of fat, increased my muscle mass 2.9kg and reduced visceral fat by 5 back into healthy range.
Q. What lifestyle changed did you experience because of PPT8?
More awareness about nutrition and the benefits of tracking my food. At the start I was struggling to eat enough to meet my calories and macros, whilst maintaining a caloric deficit.
Through food prep and tracking I saved $$$ as my food was planned. I wasn’t buying food when I was hungry or tired, getting too much or going for sugar, sweet and carbs.
I was eating cleaner, tracking macros and nutrients to check my body is getting the right ‘fuel’.
Q.What did you learn within the challenge that you will benefit from long term?
How good I feel when I’m more aware of nutrition and giving my body the right food.
You can be in a caloric deficit, exercise and still build strength and mobility.
Q. Your friend is thinking of doing the next PPT8 challenge, what would you tell them and why?
Make the time and investment in yourself. The balance of nutrition, fitness and support will make you a better person to able to keep going with our busy lives.
Especially for my mum friends, you’ll be better able to manage family, work and have ‘me time’ with a great bunch of people at PPT.
