After having my son I gained 16kgs and was feeling pretty defeated. I had managed to loose 7 kgs on my own but after a few months of getting on the scales and seeing the same number I knew just running on my treadmill at home wasn’t really cutting the mustard!
So I began searching for a gym.
I came across a blog on Facebook that was shared by a friend written by PPT that really hit home with me (click here for PPT blogs). So I began looking into PPT a little further and not long after reading and looking at their client results I was confident and committed in giving them a go.

PPT is not like any other gym I have ever been to. As soon as I had my first session I could see that each client was treated individually and not as a one size fits all. I’d been to gyms and boot camps previously were you’re literally thrown in the deep end and expected to do the routine without the trainers knowing what your capability or fitness level is which had only resulted in me hating it and ending up with an injury.
I mean no one likes doing things they can’t physically do and at PPT you won’t get any of that! They know everybody is different and every body works differently. The attention they give each client is second to none. The trainers are all passionate and encouraging in helping you archieve your goals. They will give you the tools and knowledge on how you can get the results you want, all you have to do is put in the effort. With the monthly weigh ins and measurements they keep you accountable.
Just the knowledge I’ve learnt about food alone has been so valuable and important to my day to day life. You could say before coming to PPT I really was flying blind when it came to food and calorie intake and even protein intake. I had no idea!
If PPT shut their doors tomorrow I’d honestly feel a little lost! After a year of training with these guys I have not only lost my extra weight, I have gained strength and muscle tone. Now I know what I need to do to maintain a healthy weight.
Another thing I admire and really appreciate about PPT that I’ve never had at any other gym is the constant support, knowledge and tips they always offer to their clients. Whether it be recipes, blogs on food, seminars on muscle aches and pains or just general training tips and advice. They really do know their stuff and it shows.
There seriously is no other gym that comes close to it. Being female it’s soooo important to feel comfortable in a gym. You won’t get ‘The muscle head guys’ here. You won’t get ‘The instagramers’, and you definetly won’t get people judging you. PPT’s motto is “ NO BS Just results “ and I can honestly say they 100% stand by that!
You can expect to be surrounded by friendly and encouraging people that just want to get their training done.
So if you’re serious about making a change give them a go. The only thing you’ll regret is not having signed up sooner!
