No stranger to our PPT audience, Lauren has been seen on many of our posts, killing it at Squad sessions with her husband Neil, working hard during her PT sessions with Jason, and looking stronger, fitter and leaner on each appearance!

Having completed two 12 week shift sessions, I can honestly say the experience has blown me away. I have battled with my weight for my entire life and this is the FIRST time I have ever maintained weight loss over a significant period. To be honest, at the start of my first 12 week shift I thought ‘another weight loss program’ – I have tried every tool, trick and gimmick out there. You name it, I have tried it. But after the first meeting with Jason my PT I knew it was much more than just another mass market, cookie-cutter weight loss fad. The 12 week shift is an individualised approach to reaching your goals, which looks at how food and exercise can fit in with your individual lifestyle. It is not a blanket one size fits all approach!
Overall, all the trainers at PPT are supportive and encouraging, whether it is during a PT session, group squad session or a 12 week shift information session. In many ways it is the PPT environment that makes the 12 week shift what it is. Training with, and being surrounded by like-minded people takes it to another level and definitely adds an additional dimension to the experience. From my own perspective the trainers go above and beyond in helping their clients meet their goals. Jason advised me, pushed me and took me out of my comfort zone to achieve my goals, while at the same time shared his extensive knowledge around nutrition and training to tailor solutions that worked for me.
My 3 biggest achievements coming out of the 12 week shift would be:
- Seeing food more a fuel source, rather than a reward or ‘I have to eat it because it’s there’ motto. I have always enjoyed the training part of trying to reach my goals, but in the past I have struggled with the nutrition. Even after the 12 week shift, I still continued with the cooking and meal prepping, as it’s a great way to ensure you are getting quality food, and it also saves so much time being organised!
- 15 Kgs of Fat loss! Since April I have dropped from a size 18-20 to a size 14.
- The best habit that I have collected is to not give in to temptation, those, “Have a tim tam –its Friday! Or, ‘It is just a small piece of birthday cake!’ (I am a teacher I could almost have cake and chocolate every day of the year!!) I have realised that all these “one offs” impact my results that I am working so hard for; for the rest of the time. And to be honest, most of that stuff does not taste that good anymore anyway.
This 12 week shift program went above my expectations and I would highly recommend it to others.
